How to Participate in Justice Reform

There are many ways to contribute to a fairer, more effective criminal justice system in Lagos State. Choose how you would like to get involved below.

1. Report Issues in the Criminal Justice System

Have you experienced or witnessed issues in the administration of criminal justice? Report cases of:

  • Prolonged detention without trial (beyond constitutional limits)
  • Human rights violations in custody
  • Delays in court proceedings
  • Police or prosecution misconduct
  • Poor conditions in detention facilities
  • Denial of bail for bailable offences
  • Excessive use of force
  • Corruption in the justice system
All reports are treated with strict confidentiality.
What Happens After You Report:
1.Case logged and assigned tracking number
2.Investigation initiated within 48 hours
3.Relevant agency contacted for resolution
4.Regular updates provided on progress
5.Follow-up action and monitoring
